Welcome to Luit Valley Academy, a pioneer educational institution in Jorhat City. Situated at T.R.P. Road, Nehru Park, Jorhat, near Baruah Chari Ali and the A.S.T.C. Bus station, our institution has been a beacon of quality education since 2003.

Managed by the Luit Academic Development Society, our academy is renowned for its sound infrastructure, dynamic management, and dedicated teaching staff.   • Course Duration: 2 years for Higher Secondary (10+2); 4 years including Class IX & X

Revered well-wishers, parents, and dear students,

I am glad to extend my heartfelt regards to all of you. Luit Academic Development Society, the brainchild of a good number of zealous persons of Greater Lovhat, came formally to the forefront in 2003 by establishing a Junior College at Luit Valley Academy with a noble view to promulgate quality education and fulfill the competitive needs of the modern generation.

Our highly efficient faculty members help students pursue bright careers and materialize as genuine human beings in society. We have introduced IX standard as per NEP and feel privileged to welcome everyone to our augmented system to boost our eminence.

Rules for the Academy

Please adhere to the following rules and regulations during your time at Luit Valley Academy.

General Rules

  • Students are to be regular and punctual in attending classes. A minimum of 80% attendance is compulsory.
  • No student can take any other full-time course concurrently.
  • Students must wear the proper uniform. Indecent haircuts and dress code violations are not allowed.
  • Students must carry their College Diary and Identity Card daily.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded.
  • Students must complete practicals on or before the due dates.
  • Students must follow the policies, rules, and regulations of the institute.
  • Silence must be maintained in classrooms.
  • Students absent for 15 days without authorization will be struck off the attendance register.
  • The college property should be handled carefully.
  • Smoking, chewing betel nut, alcohol, and drugs are strictly forbidden.

Disciplinary Actions

  • Violation of rules and indiscipline can result in penalties, written apologies, suspension, or even expulsion.
  • Unauthorized absence from internal exams will incur a fine.
  • Mobile phones are not allowed on the campus. Fines will be imposed for violations.
  • Parents will be informed of violations, and they may be asked to meet with the authority.

Library Rules

Please follow these library guidelines to ensure a smooth experience for all students.

Borrowing Books

  • Students can borrow a book for one week, which can be reissued for a further week.
  • A fine of Rs. 5 per day will be charged for overdue books.
  • The borrower is responsible for the books borrowed. Lost books must be replaced.
  • Students cannot borrow books using another student's library card.
  • Final year students must return all library books before filling out the examination form.

Library Etiquette

  • Strict silence and decorum must be maintained in the library.
  • Loss of library card must be reported to the librarian immediately, with a duplicate issued for Rs. 30.
  • The library is open on all working days from 10 AM to 3 PM.

Ensure that you have the necessary documents before proceeding with admission.

For Class IX & X

  • Promotional Certificate and Marksheet (Report Card) from VII-IX/X
  • Transfer Certificate

For Class XI & XII

  • Original HSLC/CBSE/ICSE/Matric Marks Sheet
  • Original Admit Card
  • Pass Certificate
  • Three Passport-size Photographs
  • Gap Certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)

Fee Structure

Here are the details for fee payments for the upcoming academic year.

For Class IX and X

  • Tuition Fees for April are paid at the time of admission.
  • Tuition Fees for May, June to be paid by 10th May.
  • Tuition Fees for July, August, September to be paid by 10th July.
  • Tuition Fees for October, November, December to be paid by 10th October.
  • Tuition Fees for January, February, March to be paid by 10th January.

For Class XI and XII

  • Tuition Fees for June are paid at the time of admission.
  • Tuition Fees for July, August, September to be paid by 10th July.
  • Tuition Fees for October, November, December, January to be paid by 10th October.
  • Tuition Fees for February, March, April, May to be paid by 10th February.
